Last month, Giant Eagle Market District store #43 in Robinson Township, PA, was proud to host television chef and talk show host Rachael Ray. Ray was at the store promoting her new cookbook Week in a Day. More than 600 shoppers secured tickets and had the opportunity to meet the star and get a signed copy of her new book.
One to One Interactions provided samples to guests as they entered the event tent, as well as coupons for the Market District store on their way out. The OTO team also kept the crowd organized and moving in an orderly fashion, which was no easy task with such a large number of guests.
The success of the event would not have been possible without the hard work of OTO team members Bev Hafner, Diane Covato, Lynn Monroe, Liz Makar, Lucy Persuit, Ashley Brehl, Jessica Davis and Holly Auth under the direction of Area Managers Kelly Zaletski and Tony Vavlas. In fact, Ray was so impressed with the effort, she asked to take a photo with the OTO Event Team.
Special events like this are not only fun, they are one more way that OTO contributes to the success of our customer, Giant Eagle.
