Snacking is increasing in nearly every market around the world, with the fastest growth in countries such as China, Brazil and Russia. By 2015, the global snack-foods market is expected to reach $335 billion.

Sales of frozen breakfast foods are sizzling, climbing 5% in 2012 to $2.8 billion per year. The biggest gains were in handheld foods, such as breakfast sandwiches, which grew nearly 9%.
